Accreditations
BAFE Registered Organisation 303184, held under scheme SP203-1 (fire detection and alarm systems: design, installation, commissioning and maintenance), third-party certificated by NICEIC. The register lists the legal entity, Electro Heating Limited. We are also an approved Fike installer and C-TEC certified. SP203-1 covers fire alarm work only; extinguishers, fire risk assessment, emergency lighting and fire doors sit under separate BAFE schemes that we do not hold, and we carry that work out to the British Standards listed below.

Service area
London and the surrounding counties, strongest across North London: Southgate (N14), New Southgate (N11), Winchmore Hill (N21), Wood Green (N22), Finsbury Park (N4), Enfield, Barnet, Haringey, Islington, Camden and Hackney, with work across the wider Greater London area.
What we do not claim
We do not advertise 24/7 emergency callout; our phone is answered during opening hours. We do not publish fixed prices without a survey. We have no fabricated reviews or case studies. As a new fire safety trade, we position ourselves honestly as the fire safety division of an established London engineering company, not as a firm with hundreds of past installations.

Verifying our accreditations
Flame Shield London is a trading name of Electro Heating Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 12609754. The same company also trades as Green Electro Heating for its electrical and heating work. One company, one set of accreditations, two trading names.
That matters when you check our credentials, because public registers list the legal entity, not the trading name. Search the BAFE register for 303184 and it returns Electro Heating Limited, not Flame Shield London. That is the same business, and here is how to confirm it:

What our BAFE registration covers, and what it does not
BAFE SP203-1 is a third-party certificated competency scheme for fire detection and alarm systems: design, installation, commissioning and maintenance. That is what we hold and that is what it covers.
It does not cover fire extinguisher servicing, fire risk assessment, emergency lighting or fire door work, which sit under different BAFE schemes that we do not currently hold. We carry out that work to the relevant British Standards — BS 5306 for extinguishers, BS 5266-1 for emergency lighting, BS 476-22 or BS EN 1634-1 for fire doors, and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 for fire risk assessments — and we will tell you so plainly rather than let a badge imply something broader. If a supplier is vague about the scope of their registration, ask them which scheme number they hold.
We are also an approved Fike installer and C-TEC certified. The registration above is third-party certificated by NICEIC, which is the body named on the BAFE record for 303184. We do not display our parent company's gas or home-improvement registrations here: they are held by Electro Heating Limited for other work and have nothing to do with fire detection.
